Reminder Goal Keeper Evaluations Tonight 5/22/19

MHYSA Reminder- We are hosting goal keeper evaluations Wednesday 5/22/19. Check in starts at 5:30.

All players- Please wear appropriate soccer gear including a soccer ball, bring gloves if you use them.  Goal keeper evaluations are for kids to showcase keeper skills, as the grade evaluations do not permit children to showcase these specific skills.  By attending these evaluations, it in no way shape or form locks a child into a goal keeper position, it is just another data point.  There is no registration for these evaluations.  PLease arrive at Plains Park by 5:30 and check in.

Thank you

MHYSA

Intown Games Apr 20 Important Info

Announcement regarding InTown Games for Saturday April 20:

Due to the rain expected this Saturday, along with the rainouts of the past 2 weeks, MHYSA is moving the InTown program on Sat 4/20/19. The holiday has allowed MHYSA to rent extra field time on Woodland and MHS Turf fields during available times.

Members of the Board of Directors (President VP Travel, VP Intown, Director of Referees) met today and have been able to move games for APRIL 20. Final game assignments will be sent to coaches (who will share with their teams) and Referees.

Thank you to Milford Public Schools, Milford Parks Department and the many volunteers for being able to do all the work needed (moving goals, lining fields, changing venues) to allow this to happen.

To get all the games in, we have VERY TIGHT SCHEDULES; please follow the Field Marshall’s direction (Brandon Westfield at Woodland, Iain Shipperd at MHS Turf).

Also, to make this happen, most teams will be playing at new times, or with goals that they are not used to – please use this as a learning experience for your teams.   Coaches will be in touch with changes to the schedule, and rules for the turf usage.

Thank you to the Field Crew (Iain Shipperd, Eric Dahlgren, Chris Caldon), Brandon Westfield (who redid the double game schedule 3 times, plus the night games, in addition to scheduling all of Intown), Tasha Griffin who worked with the Milford Public Schools (Special thanks to Trisha!) and the Field Crew. Thanks to Jim Asam and the Milford Parks Department for all your help and guidance. Thank you to the coaches who had to work out the rescheduling of games. Thank you to the parents and guardians who got the p[layers to their practices and games. And thank you to the players, who this is all for, for having such a wonderful season.  See you in the Spring!
